Message from the Prinicpal

Greetings RFHS Students and Families,


Academic Progress

First term grades posted early this week. As mentioned in the previous newsletter, ensure you and your student identify potential challenges and struggles, address areas of concern, analyze study habits and routines, and review time management of school and other activities. As a reminder, we have UWRF tutors available after school in the Library Monday - Thursday from 2:45pm - 4:00pm who can help with Writing & Composition, Algebra I, Geometry, and Trigonometry. UWRF tutors are also available in the Library from 7:00am - 7:45pm who can help with Writing & Composition, Algebra 1 & 2, Trigonometry, Chemistry, American History, Geography, Global History, and Spanish.


Course Fees

Course fees for Term 2 have also posted this week. Fees can be paid at the main office with cash or a check made out to "River Falls High School." Online payment through Infinite Campus is not available at this time. We are projecting to bring this online by the summer of 2025.


Leading with Character


As Wildcats, we lead with character. With the Thanksgiving season approaching, the character trait of gratitude feels especially fitting. This month, we reflect on all the things we are thankful for:

  • We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to lead, develop, and inspire our students.
  • We are thankful for the positive learning environment our dedicated staff has created, helping all students thrive.
  • We are proud and thankful to witness our students grow into productive citizens and bold community leaders.
  • Most of all, we are truly grateful for the unwavering support of our families and the broader community.

National Signing Day

This past Wednesday, November 13th was National Signing Day for the NCAA Division I and Division II athletics. River Falls High School had the honor of celebrating four signings. These athletes have been awarded scholarships to continue their sport at the collegiate level! Job well done Wild Cats!

Avery Singel has moved on to the State Diving Championship tomorrow, November 16th at Waukesha South Natatorium! Good luck Avery!!!

River Falls Community Dinner Flyer

River Falls Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner

On November 28th, 2024 from 11am - 1pm, River Falls will hold their Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner hosted by Saint Bridget Catholic Church. This is a Non-Denominational, FREE event for young, old, home alone, shut-ins, travelers, or "just because." All are welcome and encourged to come. Please register for the event between October 23 - November 25 in the spotlight area on saintbridgets.org


Delivery, take-out, and dine-in will be offered for the event. Thanks to community support, there is no charge, but free will offerings will be accepted.
