Dear Summit School Families,

I hope this email finds you and your loved ones in good health and high spirits. As we start the new academic year, I am thrilled to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each one of you, both familiar faces and new members of our Summit School community.

Thank you for choosing Summit School as the educational home for your children. We are honored and grateful for the trust you place in us to nurture, guide, and support their growth and learning journey. Together, we form a close-knit community that cherishes diversity, embraces collaboration, and celebrates the pursuit of knowledge.

At Summit School, we firmly believe that the key to a successful educational experience lies in forming a strong partnership between our educators, staff, students, and families. Together, we can provide the best possible learning environment for our students, empowering them to explore their passions, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate a lifelong love for learning.

With great enthusiasm, we look forward to embarking on an exciting and fun-filled school year.

Our dedicated faculty and staff have been hard at work preparing a rich and engaging curriculum, filled with opportunities for personal growth and academic achievement. We are committed to fostering an atmosphere where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

To ensure a smooth and safe start to the school year, I kindly remind you to review our drop-off and pick-up procedures for all students. You can find detailed information in the 2023-24 Student and Family Handbook, beginning on page 7. By adhering to these guidelines, we can create a secure environment for all students as they arrive and depart from school.

Please remember that communication is essential in any successful partnership. Our doors are always open to you, and we encourage you to reach out to our faculty and administration whenever you have questions, concerns, or suggestions. Together, we can make this academic year truly extraordinary.

Once again, a heartfelt thank you for being an integral part of Summit School. Let us embrace the upcoming year with open hearts, inquisitive minds, and a strong sense of unity.

On August 10th, IBE will kick-off their first Tax Credit 101 Webinar for your families and your staff who would like to learn how the journey of tax credits works with IBE and how to apply that knowledge to other STOs. IBE will cover this “Life of a Tax Credit” from donation all the way to Scholarship, giving insights on a successful Recommended Fund Scholarship system. They will also be updating families on the latest news regarding the ESA program.

Summit School is pleased to announce that we are starting a community partner program with businesses in our local community. We know that connections in the community are invaluable to the success of our school and our local businesses.

We would like to invite you to become a Summit Community Partner. This partnership requires no donations or financial support. Instead, we ask for mutual participation. Here is how it works.

• You agree to be a Summit Community Partner by posting our Summit School Community Partner flyer, poster, or our Summit School brochures in your business.

• We add your logo to our Summit Community Partners website page and our weekly school digital newsletter.

• We will reach out to you when we have campus events that you may be interested in for the purpose of sponsorship, table displays, or other connections.

• We offer you the opportunity to add items or information to our new family welcome bags.
