Keep an eye out for changes to athletics due to bad weather coming in later this week.

Students in Art One were busy making surreal collages in the tradition of artists like Salvador Dali. They learned how to make them unified by implementing principles of design like balance, rhythm, and emphasis.

Students in Art Two created a "Card of Life." They used symbols and metaphors to come up with imagery for their "playing card." Cassidy Jones (Artwork featured to the left.)

The Flu Vaccine will be offered in-school by our school nurses during the month of October for students with a completed permission form. The permission form can be accessed online by visiting https://transylvaniahealth.org/schoolflu/ or hard copies are available in the high school office. All permission forms should be completed no later than Thursday, September 26, 2024.

Juniors who score high on the PSAT may earn honors to list on college/scholarship applications, including the National Merit Scholarship. (10th graders may take the test for practice.)
