WELCOME TO THE 24-25 SCHOOL YEAR!
And Welcome to the RAM Family!
GREAT HAPPENS HERE!
A Note from Principal Lingen
WELCOME BACK! The 2024-2025 school year is just around the corner and we are so excited for our students to be back on Tuesday, September 3rd! Our theme for this year is "GREAT Happens Here!" We recognize how crucial these early years are in your child's development, and we take great pride in our commitment to teaching, nurturing, and inspiring your child as they navigate challenges.
At Roseau Elementary we also understand the importance of working together as a TEAM to support your child's growth. This team includes parents/guardians/families, teachers, support staff, kitchen staff, bus drivers, custodial staff, our school nurse, social workers, administration, the school board, and our entire community. This truly is a collective effort, and we will continue to strive for greatness—TOGETHER!
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact your child's teacher or reach out to me at any time. TOGETHER, we will make it a GREAT year!
Enthusiastically,
Bryce Lingen =)

First Day Expectations!
- Doors open at 8am, the school day runs from 8:30am-3:15pm.
- General drop off/pick up- use the North Doors (N1)
*use the right side to drop off/pick up, and the left lane to drive through. Please DO NOT PARK/STOP in the left lane.
- Students should report to their classroom when they arrive at school on day 1 (after breakfast/locker/bathroom). As a reminder, breakfast and lunch are free this year (payment is only needed for seconds and extra milk). See the GREAT September lunch menu towards the end of the newsletter!
A few other reminders...
1) During the day any communication with your child should be through their teacher and/or the office. Cell phones and apple watches can be a big distraction to an entire class so we want to curb this right away. If you have any questions with this, please give Mr. Lingen a call or stop by and visit with him!
2) If you need to make any changes regarding your phone number, mailing address, email address, or emergency contact information, please reach out to Mrs. Simmons in the elementary office!
3) If you need to meet with a teacher, be sure you schedule a time with them to come in!
4) For safety purposes, we do need you to check in and out of the office when you or your child arrives late or leaves early. Your first contact is your child's teacher, but be sure to stop by the office before you go.
5) K-6 graders who are not riding the bus who are coming in on the North end should be using the MAIN ELEMENTARY ENTRANCE (N1) on the North end.
6) Any bussing questions please contact Mr. Osweiler at kurt_osweiler@roseauschool.org and
