Huge thank you to all of the parents and students who participated in the kick-off of our biggest fundraiser of the year. So far we have raised over $17,000! I have also already notified our admin team that there are currently about 21 kids getting to pie them in the face.
Keep up the great work! You can see our overall amount raised using the link below. Feel free to share your student's link on social media, as this really gets a lot of traction.

Private Lessons
If you or your student are interested in taking private lessons, please reach out to the lesson teacher directly. The band directors do not setup private lessons for you as it involves both your schedule and the lesson teacher's.
"The Book"
It is the expectation for all of our students to take their belongings home. When students have class, they will bring their binder and instrument to the band hall. After school, they will take their things home. Students do not need to bring their instrument to school on days they do not have class unless they have a private lesson, specific rehearsal, etc.
When instruments are left at school overnight, students must sign "the book".

2. Writing Assignment
3. Parent Phone Call
4. Detention
5. Parent Conference
6. Referral
The first day for this procedure, we had 23 kids sign the book, the 2nd day we only had 5. This is a system that works, and we have seen more kids completing their assignments at home.
Assignments
All students have assignments to be working on at home. These can be completed by recording videos on their Chromebook and turning in through Schoology. Ask your student what assignment they have done so far this weekend.
Reed-Minders
The following instruments use reeds on their instruments: (clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, and oboe)
Reeds are fragile and can chip or break easily. We have reviewed the correct way to care for and handle reeds. It is the student's responsibility to take care of the reed they were first given. The links below are for how to order extra clarinet or saxophone reeds. Clarinets and saxophones should have 4 working reeds at all times.
We will "rotate" through each reed to help them last longer. Please reach out to Mrs. Irby with any questions if you have any.
Use the tinyURL below to order the correct reeds for your student, or we can offer them reeds for $3/reed.
