FAITH ALLIANCE CHURCH

CONNECTION POINT NEWSLETTER
March 7, 2025
Greetings from Pastor John
This week in our Foundations series we will be looking at the foundation of Communion. It is something that the local church has been practicing for 2000 years. In fact, Jesus Himself inaugurated the practice. It is foundational because in celebrating the Lords table we “proclaim the Lords’ death until He comes.” We say that there is something true about Jesus that has changed our lives, and we publicly agree that it is true, and want to act on it in our lives. We will see that Communion, even if it’s something we do on Sunday mornings, has application for what we do through the rest of the week.
See you Sunday
John

•Jesus told Peter to take care of His sheep. What job has Jesus given us today?

• HEAD: How has a regret from your past led you to live more fully in His path and plan today?
• HEART: How do you know that you love Jesus?
• HANDS: With whom can you enjoy a meal this week to enjoy fellowship in Christ?
