HOME ALONE SAFETY TRAINING
October 11, 2024 from 10:30am β 12 noon at the Perry Public Library
Designed to teach children who are Home Alone the importance of behaving responsibly including basic first aid tips, safely answering the phone/door, internet safety and how to react during emergencies such as power outages, fires and illness.
Knowing when your child is ready to stay home alone is a difficult decision; preparation can make this next step easier. Caregivers, please join us for the last 15 minutes for a safety wrap-up.

11:45 am β 12 noon Parents and students
Courses will be taught by Epic Trainings (https://training.epic.com), hosted at the Perry Public Library, and sponsored by the Friends of Perry Public Library. Thank you!

BABYSITTERβS TRAINING COURSE
Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Perry Public Library from 12pm β 4:30pm
Taught through classroom discussion, instructor lecture, interactive activities and video presentation; this course teaches students the roles/responsibilities of a babysitter including skills in: accident prevention, 1st Aid and care for choking.
Attendees will receive a certification card (in the mail) upon course completion.
Class starts PROMPTLY at 12 noon.
Pizza lunch will be provided.
Registration is required.

π¨ Adventures in Art π¨
We received an Arts Council grant to provide free art workshops at the Perry Public Library for children, teens, and adults. The dates and details for our fall workshops are still being worked out, but teens should mark their calendars for Colored Pencil Copper Jewelry with Pam Hill on November 12th @6:30 pm.
