Chromebook collection will take place on Monday, May 20th and Tuesday, May 21st. If your student will not be at school those days, please make sure they return their chromebook, charger and library books to the library before they start their summer break.

Class of 2025 Students and Families save the date for Senior Pictures on May 21, May 22, July 8, OR July 9. Legacy Studios will be sending out appointment scheduling information and order information for senior pictures. We are asking parents to mark their calendars. Appointments for senior pictures will be available throughout the day on May 21 or May 22. Then again on July 8 OR July 9. A make up session in September will be made available to seniors during registration.

The FIHS School Counseling Department has worked with SIC to develop grade level checklists to help families navigate through the high school years. Students Should Check Email Daily - It is important for students to get into the habit of checking their email daily. Important information about school events, opportunities, and information is shared with students through email. Please encourage your child to get in the habit of checking through emails at least once a day.

At FIHS, students who successfully complete ninth grade and are promoted to the 10th grade are eligible to order their class ring through Jostens. Students may choose to order their ring any time from 10th-12th grade. Students brought home packets of information regarding ring options. Use code RING20 between meeting and Order Day on May 13 to receive $20 off. Go to www.Jostens.com to custom design your ring. Jostens will be at FIHS during all lunches on May 13 for sizing assistance, to take orders, and answer questions. Rings are delivered in the Fall of 2024 and are presented to students during the ring ceremony in October.

As we approach the end of the school year with required End of Course and final exams, please make sure you are following school safety procedures for EARLY DISMISSALS from school. Please be aware that ALL early dismissals from school MUST be PRE-APPROVED by 12:00PM on the date of the early dismissal. You may submit an early dismissal request here:

Any requests submitted after 12:00PM on the day of the dismissal will require a parent to sign the student out in the front office. The only exception to this rule is approval by a school administrator. Front office and school attendance staff will not dismiss students through telephone calls at anytime and will not accept emails for dismissal after 12:00PM each day.

Early dismissals during testing days are not permitted until the end of the testing block. Students may not be dismissed during a testing block for final exams, EOCs, and AP testing.

There are not enough parking spaces in our student parking lot for every student to have the opportunity to park on campus. Therefore, the following priorities are set for FIHS Parking Passes.

1st Priority: Seniors who have earned CCR

2nd Priority: Seniors who have an approved plan for how they will earn CCR - student must meet with their school administrator to approve plan to earn CCR prior to Parking Pass approval.

3rd Priority: Juniors who have earned CCR

4th Priority: Sophomores who have earned CCR

5th Priority: Any student with an approved plan by school administration for how they will earn CCR that requires on campus parking due to hardship with transportation.
