Ambassador Day 2024 was a true celebration of school pride, leadership, and career readiness! Over 115 students from seven high schoolsโ€”Bloomington, Citrus Valley, Colton, Grand Terrace, Redlands, Redlands East, and Yucaipaโ€”came together in the spirit of teamwork and friendly competition, transforming our CRY-ROP Main Campus into an Olympic-style training ground for FUTURE LEADERS!

Shoutout to the incredible Army and Marines recruiters who brought leadership and energy to Ambassador Day! Our Redlands Military Recruiters led engaging outdoor team-building activities that challenged and inspired our students. A huge thank you to Jayden Brock, a proud CVHS alumnus, and Arthur Dickson, an Olympian for USA Rugby! Both Youth Engagement Coaches for the LA Rams, Jayden and Arthur joined us as keynote speakers, inspiring our students with their incredible journeys and dedication. We are grateful for their time and motivation!

๐Ÿ’ป Technology Services Updates ๐Ÿ’ป

As the school year progresses, Technology Services remains busier than ever. Following a summer dedicated to refreshing computers, deploying new simulators, and managing classroom moves and additions, the team is now focused on ensuring smooth operations across all classrooms. With a steady stream of help requests that typically lasts until February, major projects have taken a back seat for the time being.


One recent achievement includes the successful deployment of a remote application system. This new feature allows students to log in from any device to access lab applications remotely, offering a valuable tool for homework and independent study.

  • Office Computer Upgrades: Transitioning office staff computers to Windows 11.
  • Disaster Recovery Plan: Developing a comprehensive plan to ensure service continuity.
  • Cybersecurity Pilot: Collaborating with SBCSS and TrustedSec to strengthen security within Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • VOIP Migration: Verizon will be migrating the VOIP system and providing new desk phones for staff.

This month, our students participated in a variety of engaging activities that showcased their talents and creativity. From exciting field trips to inspiring guest speakers and vibrant competitions, each event offered unique opportunities for growth and expression!

Beattie Middle School's Career Exploration students dive into opportunities at the Career Fair with guest speakers, discovering new paths and future possibilities!

Park View Middle School students showcase their creativity and innovation through Paxton Patterson presentations, exploring exciting career pathways!

VE students from YHS participate in the Inland Empire Leadership Day at Chaffey College presenting their business, Ray of Totes.

Our students took flight on an exciting field trip to the UAS Center at SBD Airport, exploring the fascinating world of aviation and unmanned aircraft systems!

Mark Galez served as a guest speaker for the Art of Animation class and later took on the role of judge for our student art competition, inspiring creativity and talent!
Criminal Investigation students hosted California State Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh at a recent event, enhancing their educational experience.

Education Foundation

The CRY-ROP Educational Foundation, Inc. enriches the experience of Career Technical Education students by serving as a catalyst and funding source for promoting and celebrating education success, encouraging lifelong learning, and contributing to studentsโ€™ future career and educational goals. Funds raised through the Educational Foundation go directly to funding student award scholarships, which are presented at the annual Evening of Excellence.

Buy gift cards from Raise Right for special occasions or everyday purchases to help us reach this year's fundraising goal for Educational Foundation. You can choose either physical digital gift cards, which can be emailed as gifts. Each purchase helps support student awards and scholarships at our annual Evening of Excellence.
