Register Your Trailblazer For The Glow Run Today!
Hurry and sign up for the Hill PTSA Glow Run Fundraiser! This exciting event culminates in a run/walk/glow race around the school on Friday, September 27 from 6 - 8 PM. 100% of the proceeds will go back to Hill to help provide critical dollars for school programming, special events, staff grants, educational materials and more!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
- REGISTER – Parents/guardians, register your student for the event - it's free to make a page (even if you can't attend, you can still help support the fundraising efforts) Register Today!
- DONATE – You'll receive an email with a link to your student's page - add a donation directly to their page. The suggested donation is $25. Pay what you can. No student will be turned away from this community-building event!
- SHARE – Promote your student's page on social media and emails to generate additional funds and help us reach our $7,000 goal!
- COME – Join us for the Glow Run on Friday, September 27th to LIGHT UP THE NIGHT as we celebrate being part of the Blazer Nation! We want EVERYONE TO GLOW!

Join us for a GLOW PARTY & RUN around Hill Middle School! Wear neon or bright white clothes! Students run/walk around the school to music! Families, bring your own lawn games and picnic goodies! Enjoy food trucks and concessions! PLUS - a Glow Foam Party will be "unlocked" if we surpass $5,000 by the day of the Glow Run!

Hill Clubs Now Forming
Your students have been hearing announcements about several clubs starting to roll out at Hill. Talk to your Trailblazer about their possible options and help them take the next step, if interested. For a description of available clubs, check out the Clubs & Activities Page on the Hill website.
Reflections Art Contest Is Open!
ABOUT: PTA Reflections is the oldest and largest national student recognition program in the arts. Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-created theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.
HOW TO ENTER: District 204 PTAs proudly offer this Reflections program to all our students. From NOW UNTIL OCTOBER 1, Hill students are encouraged to make one – or more than one – original work of art in any of the six categories:
- Dance Choreography
- Film Production
- Literature
- Music Composition
- Photography
- Visual Arts
SEE HERE for the rules of entry and specific submission details. Projects can be turned in by October 1 to the Main Office, along with a completed Entry Form, to be submitted to the district level for judging.
District Volunteer Process
District 204 has changed the process for adults to volunteer within any IPSD school. If you plan on helping out this year at Hill (chaperoning a Hilltopper dance, helping out at any PTSA event, volunteering in the LMC, etc.), then you need to complete a volunteer form and get registered in the system. It's easy and fast - please check this off the list so you can volunteer, whenever the need arises!

Got Used Sneakers? We Want Them
Hill PTSA is collecting used sneakers and athletic-style shoes for a school fundraiser until 9/30. You can drop off your used sneakers in the marked bin inside the main entrance (Door 1).
