Week Ahead

Our 4th grade students had the opportunity to go to Barnstable High School for the All Cape Young People's Concert. This annual tradition provides students the opportunity to hear a professional orchestra. Thanks to Mr. Healy and Mr. Williams for their support of the arts at Oak Ridge.

Our Oak Ridge GOTR team represented Sandwich this weekend at the Girls on The Run Greater Boston 5k! These girls are so inspiring!

This year's stats: 22 teams and 11 houses with teams working from 9am on Saturday to 4pm on Sunday!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and your family for volunteering during our Community Raking Weekend. This is truly one of my favorite weekends of the year, and once again, I am amazed by your generosity and the spirit of giving that you bring to this event.
Each year, it never ceases to impress me how you all give up precious weekend time to rake someone else’s leaves. By doing so, you’re not only helping our elderly neighbors, but you’re also showing your kids what it means to be an active, caring member of this community. Your actions set such a powerful example, and I couldn’t be more grateful for your involvement.
All of the homeowners were incredibly appreciative of the work done, and it’s heartwarming to know that our efforts make such a difference in their lives.
I am so proud to be part of this community, and it’s because of families like yours that we are able to come together and support one another. Thank you for all the raking you did and for being a shining example of what makes Sandwich such a special place.

Massachusetts Partnerships for Youth (MPY) is continuing to sponsor a free Parenting Solutions Library.
