It's that time of year! We could all use some boxes of kleenex for our classroom! If you would be willing to donate some, we would really appreciate it! You wouldn't believe the number of tissues used in a day! THANK YOU to those of you who have sent some already!
7TH GRADE LAUNCHES ROCKETS!
Mr. Keeler's Research and Exploration class built rockets from 2-liter bottles and launched them this week. The longest rocket was built by Luke at 311 feet. Other rockets of note were built by Bradley, Ben, and Sophie at 250 feet, and Abbas, Jada and Brayden's reached 285 feet!
6th GRADERS BUILD CITIES OF THE FUTURE
Mr. McMahon's related arts students are building cities of the future. The Future Cities competition takes a problem from the present day and has students research and construct creative solutions to the issue. Their models must include a moving part, and the students must write an essay explaining their thinking and fully describing their model.
Did we mention we could use some Kleenex?
