A Message from the Principal
Greetings Bronco Families,
We had a full week of learning and engagement at Crews. Reflecting over the past week, we have so much to celebrate.
- Congratulations to our Lady Broncos on winning the first Middle School Volleyball Championship for Gwinnett County!
- Shout out to our Cross-Country for their performance at the recent Gwinnett County competition. Our boys placed 7th, and our girls placed 16th.
- Many thanks to each staff member, student, and family that made International Night a success. It was so wonderful to see our community come together & enjoy the beauty that makes us Crew.
- Check out our social media to keep a pulse on school happenings & announcements!
Please note that mid-semester exams are only a few weeks away. Continue to monitor your student’s academics, attendance, and overall transition to this school year. As we focus on learning and engagement, a continued focus on safety is our utmost priority. Please review our district’s website for safety & wellness, communicate concerns with the appropriate personnel, and encourage your student to stay Connected @ Crews. Thank for you staying informed and engaged.
In service to others,
Principal Moffett

Bus Pass Reminder
Temporary bus passes will be issued for verified emergencies only. Passes are not allowed as a means of transport to get to others' homes beyond a true emergency. In the case of an emergency, appropriate documentation will be required for approval consideration. Without documentation and approval, a pass will not be considered nor issued.
Please note: This includes October 4th, the day of the Homecoming Parade and game. Students will not be able to ride other buses home with friends, etc. It will still be for emergencies only that day as well.

Special shout out to Coaches Pruitt and Bridges for their hard work and dedication. Our program would not exist without their commitment & sacrifice. Many thanks to Mr. Tronolone for helping with all of the intricate planning & details to help launch this amazing GCPS initiative. 🥧 Pie Day
New Team Riley video this week -- Check it out here
It's September, and that means it's National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Each year in September, our Team Riley Club, which supports the Amanda Riley Foundation in their mission to help families in the area with children who have cancer, hosts our Pie Day!
Pie Day is an exciting event where teachers volunteer to have pie smeared all over their faces—if we raise enough money! We have 20 volunteers from all grade levels, Connections, administration, and counseling, who have signed up to get pied in the face for our cause!
Last year, thanks to your generosity and the generosity of your students, we raised nearly $600, more than we ever had up to that point!
This year, we've added a bonus round: every student who donates puts their name into a drawing! If we raise $600, we draw one name from the hat, and that student gets to pie Mr. Hollingshead themselves! If we raise $800, we will draw five names to pie him! If we are somehow able to raise $1,000, ten students will be drawn and pie him!! Ten!!!!
I know that's a lot of money, but that's also a lot of pie! But more importantly, it's a lot of money donated to a great foundation that provides families with much needed help with gas, food, and medical bills, as well as supplies and activities for patients who must sometimes spend days or weeks in the hospital!
Please join in helping us raise more money than we ever have!
Donations will be accepted in front of the Media Center during homeroom starting on Monday, September 16, and running until Tuesday, September 24! The great pieing of 2024 will take place on Friday, September 27!
Thank you all for your continued support! This community is what makes Crews and the Brookwood Cluster great!
