Congratulations to our water polo team for another exciting victory in the CIF playoffs. They will play on Tuesday in the CIF semifinals versus the Tigers from South Pasadena High School. The match will be played in the pool at La Canada High School at 5 p.m.

In golf, good luck to Juliet Oh who will tee it up in the Regional State Qualifier Tournament on Thursday.

Thank you in advance to USB for the special treatment of the DBHS staff this week during “We Love our Staff” Week.

Together with our community, we did it again! last Wednesday, a ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the end of the remodel of the 400 building and a library dedication in the name of long-time DBHS Principal Dr. Robert L. Corkrum.

The library will serve not only as a repository of books but also a gathering place for ideas, innovation, and community.

Thank you, voters of Measure WV, which funded the project, for helping us encourage students to explore, discover, and grow in the improved facility and beyond.

Congratulations to the following golfers who played Thursday, November 7, for the 2024 CIF team SCGA qualifying tournament. These players played against the Best Divison 1 schools at Temecula Creek golf course.

Placing 9th in a tournament of this caliber is a great accomplishment for the program. Their goal for next season is to qualify for the regional tournament next year as we return 5 golfers from this team.

We are cheering for Juliet Oh, who qualified for the Regional SCGA tournament. It will will be held at Los Serranos Golf Course Thursday, November 14. Go Brahmas!

Every month, each of our GLCs has an opportunity to recognize one student who they feel is representative of the qualities they would like all Brahmas to display. Here are the students being recognized in the month of November 2024.
