Thank you to the many families and PTSA for supporting our Homecoming dance this past weekend! Your efforts made for a memorable night for our students. This week, our students have brought so much positive energy and enthusiasm to our school and watching their efforts in class has been inspiring!

As we approach the end of the 1st quarter, we will be holding Student Led Conferences. These conferences provide a valuable opportunity for students to share their progress and achievements with their families. It is a time for students to take ownership of their learning and reflect on their growth. The conferences will be scheduled shortly after the end of the 1st quarter, November 6th.

Please note that there will be no school on Wednesday, November 27, the day before Thanksgiving. We have been approved to waive this school day to make time for our Student Led Conferences and allow for our whole community to enjoy a longer holiday weekend.

In the coming weeks, you will receive information from your student's advisory teacher regarding the scheduling of the Student Led Conferences. We look forward to your participation and support in these important conversations!

Discover U week is happening at Cleveland HS Oct 21-25th! During this week, we focus as a school community on connecting all students with post-secondary opportunities. We have activities in Advisory class all week and two major events:

• Community Service Learning Fair (Oct 22 -during lunch in main hallway)
• All School College Fair (Oct 23-altered bell schedule)

Bridging Cultural Gaps is collaborating with Cleveland STEM High School to host the 2nd Annual East African Family Night. This event aligns with Cleveland’s commitment to creating an inclusive environment where all cultural backgrounds are recognized and celebrated. Join us for an evening of connections, interactive activities, discussion and opportunities to engage with school leadership.

We want to thank all the volunteers who brought treats, volunteered and donated money to the homecoming dance. Because of you Homecoming was memorable.

We promised you gift cards as an incentive for joining the PTSA by the 25th of September. Here are the winners: Katie Kennedy, Morgen Smith, Lilly Liftner, Curtis Williams, and Ash Warren. Without members the PTSA cannot function. All is welcome to join.

Are you interested in your child joining free and confidential counseling groups this semester? Cleveland is offering several different groups which will take place on a rotating schedule during the school day. Filling out this referral form does not guarantee a spot in a group. The results of this survey are confidential and only read by a school counselor or social worker. Please fill out this interest form to see what group options are available.
