Grade 11 Advanced Placement U.S. History students recently wrapped up an engaging project focused on Era 8: 1945–1980. Each group of students created a self-guided presentation on a major event, movement, or theme from this transformative period in American history. To deepen their understanding, students rotated through presentation stations, taking notes and engaging with their classmates’ work. This collaborative format allowed students to become both teachers and learners, fostering critical thinking and a broader perspective on the political, social, and cultural shifts that shaped postwar America.
