We had an energetic pep rally today in anticipation of starting MAP testing next week! To ensure that the students' devices are charged and ready to go each day, the students will not be allowed to check out a chromebook to take home for the next two weeks. Today is the mid-point of 4th quarter, and grade checks should be going home sometime next week. Thank you for all the parents that volunteered at the book fair this week, and everyone that made contributions to our school's gum drive. We are fortunate to have such a supportive community!

Each day we will be reviewing 6th grade skills in preparation for the upcoming MAP test in April. Students have chosen a book to read, analyze, and discuss during our book clubs.

Our new unit is Ancient Greece. We will identify major cities, bodies of water, work with timelines, and investigate beliefs.

Students will be reviewing content in preparation for the MAP test in two weeks.

Student are learning about natural resources and how resources are harvested and distributed. They will learn about mining, fossil fuels, and other forms of energy.

April 21st: Band Concert

April 22nd-24th: MAP ELA Testing

April 25th: 6th Grade Dance Party

April 29th-May 1st: MAP Math Testing

May 1st: STEAM Night

We will use Remind for whole class announcements. We will personally email you to talk about anything relating to your child specifically.
