September News

We are looking forward to September and watching our Eagles soar. We are working hard this year to focus on positive behaviors in the building. Students now receive Dojo points for all the amazing things they do throughout the day . If needed students negative behaviors are charted in the classroom and reported to parents via TeacherEase, phone call, or Dojo message. With our new system we have implemented an Oak Grove School Store. This store will be open to students every two weeks. At that time they can use there Dojo points to purchase items. Its a great day to be an Eagle!

This year we are excited to begin OG Buddies. Every month two classes will meet to participate in activities. Upper grade students are paired with lower grade students. Our first OG buddies took place this week and it was great fun for students and staff.

August 30th- 11:50 Dismissal SIP Day

September 2nd- No School Labor Day

September 19th- Retake Picture Day

Please be cautious when picking up your student from school to avoid the front parking lot as our buses pull up to pick up bus riders. K-4 students are picked up at the back door and 5th-8th graders are picked up from the cafeteria door. When entering the line please go to the second entrance to the church as we leave the main entrance open for buses to pull in and parents to exit.
