Congratulations to our Cubs for their incredible achievements at the state conference in Fort Worth. Every project came home with an award and our students had a great experience! Go Cubs!

Artwork by two of our Cubs was selected to be displayed in a Youth Art Showcase sponsored by Mental Health America of Greater Houston which aims to bring awareness to the importance of mental health awareness. The artwork, which illustrates the theme "Self-Love," will be on display from May 9- May 28 at Everett Collier Regional Library.

Raaga Bukkaraju (8th Grade) also earned a Silver Key award in the Scholastic Art & Writing Contest for her artwork titled, "All That Glitters Is Not Gold." The Scholastic Art Contest Key Winning work will be on display in May at Texas Art Supply.

Our Destination Imagination team placed 4th at the state finals, and has qualified to compete at the Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City later this month. Congratulations Cubs!

All CFISD student-athletes are required to have a current physical. All required participation forms must be submitted before a student participates in any try-out, practice, athletic class, open gym, open weight room, athletic competition or travels with a CFISD athletic team for any purpose. The 2024 athletic physical forms and exam dates will be available beginning on April 1, 2024.
