A Note From the Office...
Dear Disney Families,
I hope this letter finds you well and warm as we transition back to our regular schedule following the recent snow days. We’re so glad to have our students back in the classroom and ready to dive into an exciting second quarter of learning and growth!
As we embark on this new quarter, our focus remains on fostering academic excellence, building character, and supporting the overall well-being of our students. We are so proud of their hard work and resilience, and we look forward to partnering with you to make this quarter a successful one for everyone.
To kick off this quarter with a sense of community and fun, we are thrilled to invite you to Game Night, hosted by our Student Ambassador Group. This special event will take place on Thursday, January 23rd, from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Game Night promises to be an evening full of laughter, connection, and friendly competition. Families will have the chance to enjoy a variety of games and activities including board games, lawn games and more. Take this opportunity to meet other families, and celebrate the creativity and leadership of our Student Ambassadors. Concession snacks will be available for purchase. You may also enter a chance to win Family Games! Please know this is a cash only event.
We encourage you to mark your calendars and join us for this wonderful evening! Your support and involvement make all the difference in creating a thriving school community.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you on January 23rd and working together to make this quarter a fantastic one for our students!
Working Together,
Lori Elliott and Beth Sandbothe
Principal and Assistant Principal

CELEBRATE YOUR CHILD'S BIRTHDAY ON THE MARQUEE THIS YEAR
Marquee Birthday Message
We want to help you celebrate your child's birthday this year in style. As a reminder, NO FOOD ITEMS MAY BE BROUGHT FOR STUDENTS TO CELEBRATE BIRTHDAYS. FOOD ITEMS WILL BE TURNED AWAY AT THE OFFICE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
HOWEVER, we know birthdays are special. You can purchase a birthday message to your child to be displayed on our Disney marquee for $5. If you use the Google link below, it will walk you through how to celebrate your child!
1. All requests MUST be complete and paid for by the 25th of each month! So, if your child has an October birthday, please submit forms and payment by September 25th!
2. If your child's birthday was in August or over the summer, no worries! We are happy to celebrate a 1/2 birthday! If you prefer to celebrate on their actual birthday, Ms. Shayla will be here all summer and we would be happy to run their birthday wish in the summer months, as well.
Please complete the Google Form HERE. The link to the MySchoolBucks Payment Center is located within the Google Form. If you have any questions, please call the office.
Interested in Volunteering?
We have so many volunteer opportunities at Disney right now! Please look to see how you can help!
Sometimes our visitor versus volunteer process is a little messy. Please use the link below to help you understand what is needed to complete the Volunteer Process as well as what constitutes as volunteering.
Volunteers Needed
Nutrition Information
Breakfast and lunch is available for all students. We HIGHLY encourage ALL families to take the time to complete the Free and Reduced Lunch form. We understand many families feel they may not qualify, but it does provide information for the state regarding our families' needs in our area. The federal and state education department provide funding based on these numbers. Although it seems cumbersome, we ask that you continue to help Disney receive the appropriate amount of funding per student by completing this form. Application for Free/Reduced Meals HERE
Meal Prices & Payment Options
Breakfast, lunch prices can be found on www.sps.org under the Parents/Guardians tab, then choose Nutrition. The menu choices are found on the right. This is also where students can view lunch menus and parents can make payments.
I have included a link HERE.
