JOBS
There are many ways to volunteer at Louisburg Library. Here are some jobs that, depending on your interest, you can help us with:
- Shelving books
- Shelf reading books (making sure a section is actually in order)
- Picklist processing (hunting things down that people have requested)
- Dusting shelves
- Managing a display
- Helping the librarians with various projects
Ask Angela, about ways to get involved and volunteer.
LibrariesConnect is now at LMS and LHS!
LibrariesConnect is a cooperative project between Louisburg Library, Louisburg Middle School, and now Louisburg High School!
All middle and high school students now have access to LibrariesConnect. Happy Reading!
Book Boxes!
What are book boxes?
Book Boxes are free for teens in Grades 6-12 during the school year. It is exactly how it sounds; a box with a book, activities, and snacks!
When are book boxes available?
Book Boxes are available once a month. Check out our Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/LouisburgLibrary to see when they are up for grabs!
Can I reserve a book box?
We do not reserve book boxes due to a limited supply. If you have special circumstances, please Ask Angela.
What if a teen cannot make it to the library?
A parent, guardian, or friend can pick up the book box for their teen!
