Dear Pilot Families,

We had another amazing week at Pauba Valley!

Students are doing a fabulous job on their beginning of the year iReady Diagnostic. Remind your Pilot to always take their time and do their best. Teachers will be meeting with students individually in the upcoming weeks to set up goals in Reading and Math.

This week, Pilots learned our second Key of Excellence, Failure Leads to Success. They discussed how learning from mistakes helps us to grow. Be sure to ask them about their lesson with Ms. Julie!

PE was outside this week with the nice weather, but next week may need to move indoors due to the expected heat. With the heat, Pilots will want to have plenty of water.

Is your Pilot missing anything? Be sure to check out the lost and found rack in front of the school!

Have a wonderful 3 Day Weekend! Happy Labor Day! We will see everyone on Tuesday!

Important Upcoming Dates

Monday, 9/2: Labor Day - No School!

Wednesday, 9/4 - Modified Day

Friday, 9/6: Friday Flag Salute on the blacktop. All visitors must sign in at the front office and wear a visitors sticker at all times.

Running Club Starts September 11th!

If your student would like to join Running Club please be sure to look for the flyer this upcoming week and turn in the permission slip to the teacher or front office.

PTA helps pay for field trips, assemblies, grade level funds, books in the classroom, and more! Joining as a member is not a time commitment, it is just being a voice for our students. If you would like to volunteer at events, we will be reaching out soon with information!
