A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear SHS Parents, Students, and Staff,
Today’s final newsletter marks the end of another successful school year at Sacred Heart School. It's a time for reflection, celebration, and perhaps even a few mixed emotions as we say goodbye to the familiar routines of the classroom.
We've witnessed incredible growth in all our students this year, academically, socially and spiritually. Whether it was mastering new concepts, overcoming challenges, or forging strong friendships, their achievements fill us with immense pride. Thank you for your partnership throughout the year in supporting their learning journey. We're grateful for the dedication of our teachers and staff who have nurtured our students' curiosity and fostered a love of learning. Their tireless efforts have created a supportive environment where each child felt empowered to reach their full potential.
Looking ahead to summer, we encourage our students to explore their interests, recharge their batteries, and come back in the fall ready for new adventures. May God bless you and your families with a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer break. I look forward to welcoming you back for a new school year filled with exciting possibilities!
Many Blessings,
Mrs. Joanna Barlow
Principal

Make your gift go twice as far! Donate today at SACRED HEART SCHOOL GIVE CAMPUS or scan the QR code. Every contribution, regardless of size, makes a huge difference in the lives of our students.
HONORING OUR GRADUATES
As graduation season draws to a close, we're filled with pride as we reflect on the incredible ceremonies for our 8th grade, Kindergarten, and Preschool classes!
Each ceremony held its own special charm, capturing the unique spirit of our graduating classes. From the heartwarming traditions of Preschool and Kindergarten to the momentous transition of our 8th graders moving on to high school, it was a season filled with joy and excitement.
Our incredible 5th graders recently participated in an out-of-this-world experience at the STARBASE program located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Military Base.
Every Wednesday throughout May, the students embarked on exciting adventures in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). These weren't your typical classroom lessons – STARBASE is all about "hands-on, minds-on" activities that ignited their curiosity and fueled their passion for STEM fields. We're incredibly grateful for this unique opportunity provided by STARBASE. It's experiences like these that spark a lifelong love of learning and inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators. Read the Monitor article below to learn more about their experience.
HONOR ROLL CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Congratulations to those 6th and 7th graders who achieved Honor Roll for the 3rd Trimester. Students received their certificates in their homerooms today.
Congratulations to our eleven 6th and 7th graders who achieved Honor Roll for ALL 3 Trimesters. These students have been invited to a celebratory breakfast on Monday, June 18th. Invitations have been given to the students.

CAR LINE SAFETY INFORMATION
Over the past few weeks, we have seen some reckless driving during drop off and pick up. In an effort to keep everyone safe, please read below and refresh yourselves with our drop off and pick up procedures.
CAR LINE TIPS ON ARRIVAL
Form 2 lanes. The right lane is for grades K-8, the left lane is for our Pre-K students. Families with students in both PreK and K-8 should stay in the right lane.
When arriving you will be greeted by Father John and myself. Please wait your turn in the car lanes. Once in the drop off area, have your child exit the car. K-8 students will be dropped off in front of the main gym doors. Pre-K will circle around and be dropped off in front of the church. Pre-K Parents please make sure to pull up to the Student Drop Off Ends Here sign so other cars can move in behind you. Our staff on duty will assist in making sure your children arrive safely to their classrooms.
Once you have dropped off your child/children please do not cut out of lane instead wait until the car in front of you moves to exit the campus. When exiting please be mindful that cars may turn in front of you to drop off at preschool or to exit the campus.
CAR LINE TIPS FOR PICK-UP
Form 2 lanes. In the interest of safety for your child/children and others:
Children will not be permitted to enter a car until the car is in front of the auditorium. Please pull all the way up to the "Drop off ends here" sign even if your child is standing in another place.
If one of the car lanes is moving, children must wait until the cars stop moving before going to their car. If you must exit your car to buckle seat belts, we ask that you use the lane closest to the auditorium. Please pick up your child as quickly as possible, being mindful of the extremely long line behind you. We are discouraged from blocking Clifton Avenue.
AM Care and EDP
Morning Care (6:30am-7:30am) and Extended Day Program (EDP) is available. If you are interested in either of these programs, please be sure to visit the website to get all the information you need. This is also where you can register your child for the programs.
