Five Good Things in Spring
January 20, 2025

Northgate Elementary just threw the ulti-mutt retirement bash for Officer Paco, Spring ISD’s four-legged legend! After nine pawsome years of keeping our schools and community safe, Paco is hanging up his badge and heading into a life of belly rubs and treat-filled adventures with his new family. 🦴🐕 Students lined the halls like a VIP runway, giving Paco the send-off he totally deserves. Big woofs of thanks for all the joy, loyalty, and tail wags you brought us, Paco! Enjoy your retirement—time to chase squirrels full-time! 🐾
Say hello to our amazing 2024-2025 Safety Patrol Officers and "Be Nice" Student Ambassadors!🚸These young leaders are stepping up to keep our school safe every day. A special shoutout to our honorary safety patrol officer from Ms. Payne-Jones' class—they're rocking that safety vest like pros. Looking good in that neon! 🤩 Huge thanks to our officers for supporting and encouraging these students to shine. Let’s cheer them on as they make a positive impact on campus! 🦺
The Spring Lady Lions are crushing it—on the field and in the classroom! With a 100% academic eligibility rate for the second 9 weeks, they’re proving you can totally kick goals and ace those tests. Let's give a Lion-sized round of applause to our All A’s Honor Roll superstars and A/B Honor Roll MVPs—brains, skills, and style, all in one team. Go Lady Lions! 🦁
Our Superintendent Student Advisory Council is making big moves! These student leaders dove into their Governance Fellowship work, selecting teams to champion their top legislative priorities. They shared thoughtful discussions on why these areas matter for student success, showing their commitment to making a difference. We’re so proud of their dedication to shaping a brighter future for all students! 🎓
A day full of rhythm, history, and inspiration! Our Link Elementary 5th graders had an amazing time visiting the Hobby Center, where they learned about percussion 🥁 and the rich history of music, thanks to the efforts of our incredible Performing and Visual Arts department. They soaked in the magic of live theater and left with smiles and curiosity that will last a lifetime. Thank you, to the Hobby Center, for creating such a memorable experience for our students! 🎶
All Spring ISD Campuses and offices will be closed Monday, January 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
