“Do not complain, that shows discontent with the will of God in the present moment. That is also proof of impatience.” St. Martin de Porres
Dear HFRCS Families,
I cannot believe we are only 6.5 school days away from Easter Break! This school year is flying by, and it will be June before we know it.
We had a busy week last week. We had our lenten confessions for grades 2-8 and then we also had a school wide Stations of the Cross with Deacon Jack. A big thank you to all our families who were able to join us. There is nothing greater we can do than celebrate our faith together! We have our monthly mass tomorrow at 9:30am with Father Otto as the celebrant. Second grade is doing the readings as well as presenting the offertory gifts. All families are welcome to attend and celebrate our faith together.
We have been notified by Education & Technology Professionals that our technology teacher, Mr. Stralo, will not be returning to Holy Family. We will have previous technology teachers Mr. Kershner and Mr. Exadaktilos fill in as we continue to work on finding a replacement for the technology teacher position.
We have some important announcements and updates below, so please make sure you take the time to read everything. Just another reminder that students can work on their i-Ready My Paths at home. This is a great opportunity for them to receive some extra instruction that is catered to their “glows” & “grows.” I am always happy to meet with any families who would like to discuss their child’s progress with the program.
As always, thank you for your support and dedication to Holy Family and catholic education. Our school would not be what it is without you, our amazing families.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
Mr. Elia

Reminders about Re-Enrollment:
Holy Family Regional Catholic School is now utilizing a "Continuous Enrollment" concept for students enrolled in our school. Continuous Enrollment assumes that once enrolled, a child will continue their education at Holy Family until graduation from eighth grade. Since most of our families remain year after year, this streamlines the enrollment process by reducing time and paperwork for parents and the school staff.

This is an opportunity for individuals like you to send PA State Income Tax money directly to our school instead of Harrisburg. If you have the completed commitment form, please send it directly to Kevin Kelly (kkelly@foundationfce.org). The link for the form is below and a copy of the form is also attached to the dojo post.
COVID 19 Policy Update
At Holy Family, our number one priority will always be the safety of our students, staff, and families. After careful consideration and speaking with the archdiocese, we are moving forward with updating our COVID Policy. As of today, 3/15/24, our COVID policy is included with other respiratory illness procedures. They are as follows:
The person cannot return to Holy Family until he/she is fever free, without the use of fever-reducing medications, and their symptoms are improving overall.
Return dates and the enhanced precautions upon return would be determined and/or confirmed by our nurse.
