Principal's Message
Good evening Mira Loma Families,
I want to take this opportunity to wish all of you a safe and restful Labor Day Weekend. As our second full week of school comes to an end, I am grateful for the very palpable sense of pride and tradition that I have been able to experience at Mira Loma High School in such a short amount of time.
During the first few weeks of school, I have been fortunate to visit many of our classrooms to see the remarkable work that students and teachers are doing. In addition to our academics, sports and extracurricular activities are in full swing. Last Friday, we held our Back to School Rally in the Large Gym and it was amazing to witness the energy of our entire student body and staff!
In addition, our first Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) meeting was well-attended last Wednesday evening. I look forward to partnering with families as we look to continue our work to create the best possible educational environment for our students. Please check our Important Calendar Dates section below if you are interested in attending future meetings or joining our Parent Teacher Organization.
Thank you for your partnership and dedication to Mira Loma High School!
Sincerely,
Kaden Bahner
Principal

Club Rush
Starting September 5th Mira Loma will be showcasing this year's student community in a multi-day lunch event called "Club Rush". Club Rush is a fun, energetic event where each of the active student clubs announce when and where they meet and recruit new members. Some clubs are academic (Speech and Debate, FBLA, BPA etc) Identity (Latinos Unidos, Black Student Union, Pride Club, Chinese Culture Club) common interest (Chess, Green-Thumb, Prism, Drama Club) and more! It is a great way for students to find students who share common interests and goals! Since it is at lunch, every student can attend and we hope each Matador finds their group!
