Hats off to the Class of 2013
The sixteen graduates of the Class of 2013 received their Diplomas from Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco at a sparkling ceremony held at the Hotel de Paris on June 18.
A very special evening
In the presence of Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou and other special guests, as well as over three hundred family members, friends and ISM staff, the Class of 2013 celebrated the end of their studies at our traditional Graduation Ceremony, at the Hotel de Paris, on June 18, 2013. The Graduation choir sang a medley of songs and Mrs Aryane Beachner, Head of Secondary School, paid tribute to the Class of 2013. HSH Princess Charlene presents diplomas and prizes to our students
The prize for Outstanding Academic Achievement was awarded to Anne-Sophie Schmidt who has been accepted into Columbia University, New York. Further awards for Academic Excellence were also presented to Ariana Pughe and Giulia Alessi; the Conseil National Prize went to Elizabeth Steichen, and the awards for Contribution to School Life were presented to Julia Pittorino and Anne-Sophie Schmidt. All our students have been accepted into excellent universities including Columbia University, New York University, McGill University , Montreal, Bocconi University, Milan, Bristol University, CASS Business School and Kings College London in the UK.
Guest speaker - Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou
We were delighted to welcome Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou as our Guest Speaker. Founder of easyJet and the easyGroup companies, and serial entrepreneur, Sir Stelios also runs his own philanthropic foundation which supports education, entrepreneurship and the environment. He gave a very lively and interesting talk to our students and guests, reminding them to come back one day and "give back" something to their school or university.
