Year Six Camp 2024
Contemplative writer Joyce Rupp reflects upon Jesus’ difficult teaching for followers to “take up their cross and follow him”
We can’t just sit on the roadside of life and call ourselves followers of Jesus. We are to do more than esteem him for his generous love and dedicated service. We do not hear Jesus grumbling about the challenges and demands of this way of life. We do not see him “talking a good talk” but doing nothing about it. He describes his vision and then encourages others to join him in moving those teachings into action.
Hi Everyone,
As we celebrate the return from camp of our children from Year Six, doing so many things they perhaps wouldn’t ordinarily do, we celebrate this formative part of their journey through Year Six. A great opportunity embraced by our children. We thank them and congratulate them. To teachers Nikita and Pete, supported by Tarryn, Claudia, Anthony, Tegan and Joe, to make this week what it was, we thank you for giving them this precious opportunity. Rest well!
Have a great long, long weekend! See you on Wednesday after our staff development day on Tuesday.

Sickness
We have had quite a few children (and some staff) away the past couple of weeks and the reasons are many - covid, flu, gastro for example. Our wish is for everyone to be well and at school, but our appreciation goes to you for really helping your children to get well more quickly and to minimise the spread of sickness at school, by keeping sick children home. This means a great deal to our community. Thank you very much indeed for being so mindful.
Emails
Please be advised that we are currently experiencing intermittent issues with our emails which seems to be a wider issue than just our school.
2024 Holy Rosary Swimming Carnival Update
Swimming Selections
Yesterday I posted the updated swimming selections for the Holy Rosary Swimming Carnival on March 22 on Seesaw. I have tried to include all the changes requested by students and parents. If there are any further changes, could you please email me through administration by Friday please.
I will then work with HBF to produce the final document and at that stage I will not be able to make further changes to the program.
The outline of events has also been completed and is attached to this article. It was also put up on Seesaw yesterday.
Thanks to everyone that has offered to help at the carnival so far. Can I ask helpers to meet me poolside on March 22 at 8:50am please and I will go through your jobs with you.
