Fontana Weekly Wolf Update
Week of September 2-6, 2024
A special message from Mrs. Valenta
Dear ASA Families,
Last week, we received the sad news of Ms. April Harmer's passing ๐. Her love of teaching, unwavering positivity, and warm smile truly embodied a growth mindset ๐ฑ. Her impact as an educator has left a lasting impression on our school community, and I hope your children felt the warmth and dedication she brought to their education.
This year, we were fortunate to have Ms. Harmer back on our Fontana campus as a middle school teacher. Her dedication was evident in everything she did, and knowing she spent her final days working with our students brought her immense joy ๐. Ms. Harmer's commitment to her students was extraordinary. She not only developed our robotics program ๐ค but also devoted time to tutoring, participating in home visits ๐ , and supporting after-school activities ๐. Her passion for connecting with and supporting each student was truly remarkable.
The quote she chose for her Yearbook page in 2019, "Our fingerprints don't fade from the lives we touch," captures the lasting impact she had on our community. As we move forward, letโs honor her legacy by continuing to support and inspire our students with the same dedication she demonstrated.
Together, we can build on her legacy and make a positive difference in the lives of every student we touch ๐พ.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
๐พ.Mrs Valenta
