Message From The Principal

Hornet Families,

Tomorrow, February 26th we will have a PTO social in the media center from 6:00-7:00. If you are interested in learning more about the PTO, come join us! Snacks and beverages will also be provided.

This week we celebrate Read Across America Week! To celebrate we have the following book themed school spirit days:

Monday - "The Sleep Book" - Wear School Appropriate Pajamas

Tuesday - "Boost Your Imagination" - K-2 Students Dress Like Your Favorite Letterlander and 3-5 Students Dress Like Your Favorite Book Character

Wednesday - "Read My Shirt Day" - Wear School Appropriate Shirt with Words

Thursday - "Reading Makes Us Bright" - Wear Neon or White Colors

Friday - "Hats Off to Reading" - Wear a Hat

We look forward to our students participating in our school spirit days to celebrate reading!

EXCITEMENT IS IN THE AIR! Our Read-A-Thon fundraiser also begins tomorrow, February 26th and our scholars will read, read, and READ! You can support and encourage our students to read by donating money. The money goes to enhance our reading program at Bailey - classroom libraries and the school library. Bailey’s Field Day is set for Friday, April 19th. At this time we are conducting our T-shirt sale. Our design will be printed on a quality Dark Heather Grey Gildan® Heavy Cotton™ t-shirt.
