New Library Services:
Wireless Printing, Events Calendar, & Room Reservations
- A wireless print service, even allowing you to send prints to the library anywhere you have Internet access.
- An online events calendar showing all library-sponsored and non-library sponsored public events at the library.
- An online room reservation system.
These services can all be found at the top of the left side menu of the library's website. Please see more below about these services.
Wireless Printing
Patrons can now upload files to print at the library by clicking on the printer link. You can select color or black and white. You write a name for the request and then just come to the library circulation desk to ask for your request to be printed, then paid for. Patrons can also use the link or a QR code available in the library to also send print requests. NOTE: A file must be sent for printing; not a webpage or link. Please download or save the PDF, image, document, etc. to your device first, then upload it to the library's printing link.
Online Events Calendar
Events
Patrons can now view and search through the library's sponsored events, as well as the non-library sponsored public events being held at the library by clicking on the Events Calendar icon. You can filter the calendar by library branch (Roosevelt, Duchesne, or Outreach sites), intended audience age of the event, and type of program (Story time, Teen event, Book Club, etc.) You can look as far ahead as the end of 2024. For more information about using the calendar, click on the tutorial pamphlet below. NOTE: The library does not condone or advocate the content or viewpoints expressed in a non-library sponsored public event.
Room Reservation System
Patrons can now fill out reservations requests for the library's meeting rooms wherever they have an Internet connection by clicking on the Library Room Reservations link. You will be given the option to either see when a specific room you desire is available, or to find any available room on a specific date and time. You will be asked to complete the reservation form which will be reviewed by the branch management. All patrons submitting a request should read the Room Reservation Policy and User Agreements. If a patron provides an email in the reservation, they will receive notice of the approval or denial of the request. If the event is private and requires rent, payment must be made after approval and before accessing the room. To learn more about the process, click on the tutorial pamphlet below. NOTE: Review the Room Reservation Policy for attendance limits for private events, unavailable times, and limits on repeating reservations.
