6th Grade Spotlight
SoundWaters Field Experience
6th Grade students rotated through 4 stations:
Animals in Changing Climate
Seining- a hands-on experiment of the shallow waters of Long Island Sound
Population Study
Horseshoe Crab Blood Lab
5th Grade Spotlight
Climate Circles
5th graders participated in Climate Circles at Pearson. Students are tasked with identifying and committing to the kind behaviors on a daily basis at Pearson School! All grade levels will be participating in these important experiences focused on student voice and leadership!
4th Grade Spotlight
Connecticut Science Center
4th graders participated in multiple stations provided by the Connecticut Science Center, focusing on renewable and non-renewable energy!
3rd Grade Spotlight
Third Graders are displaying their Geometry knowledge!
Third Grader Ethan earns 2 books from our book vending machine!
Third Grader Rhys draws a tiny little picture to send home to his mom!
Community Connection
Pearson School loves to READ!
Pearson parent Seth Roy reads to a Fourth Grade class in honor of Read Across America Week! We are grateful for all of our Volunteer Readers from our community that participated!
Sixth Grader Brysen Smith has a dream!
That dream is to become a Police Officer one day. Officer Davranmakel was honored to visit Pearson School to instruct Brysen on the steps to becoming a police officer when he is older.
As one family noted to the Pearson School Staff during conferences:
"We are so grateful and thankful for your support!"
April is School Library Month!
Mayor Todd Arcelaschi stopped by Pearson School to deliver his Official Proclamation, recognizing April as School Library Month! Let the reading begin!
