Crew Leaders will facilitate crews in hallway viewing:

Thanksgiving themed game of Pictionary, using your touchview or dry erase board. Crews will be split into two teams and have a blast!

Scholars involved in the pep rally (football players, cheerleaders, band, chamber choir and color guard members, and JROTC should eat first lunch and then report to the field house at 10:04. An announcement will be made to call them down.
Pep Rally 10:40 - 12:20
Scholars will be dismissed to their class hallways to clean up at 12:20 to 12:30. We ask that all crew teachers go to the grade level floor of their crew students to help supervise until 12:30pm

Bus Passes
Scholars need to be using their bus passes and swiping them to get on and off the bus. There are many scholars on the wait list and if students are swiping their passes we can determine number of riders and potentially add scholars that are on the waitlist.
Breakfast is served at Salem High School from 7:15 - 7:45 each morning in the 1st Floor Cafeteria.
Salem High School Dinner
Exciting News! Salem High School students now have the opportunity to stay for dinner any day after school! Dinner will be served in the SHS first-floor cafeteria from 3:05 PM - 4:35 PM starting this coming Monday 12/11. These meals are FREE for all students.
Winter Athletics Sign Ups

Reminder you must have a current physical within 13 months to participate in athletics! The first day of Winter Sports is Monday December 2nd!

Girls Flag Football
The Girls Flag Football Game vs. Beverly High School will take place on Monday 11/25/24.

$5 Student
$7 Adults
All ticket sales go to the Salem High School and Beverly High School Class of 2025. We hope you can all make it out to Bertram! #GoWitch
Turkey Toss
Salem High School will participate in the Kiss 108 Turkey Toss for the 4th year in a row. Salem High School has taken two 2nd place finishes and one 3rd place finish. This year we are looking for Rocco Ryan and Jordan O'Malley to bring home the Turkey!!!
This event is a senior only event. Any senior that wants to take the trip to Somerville Assembly Row need to see Mrs. Mansfield (Student Activities) and complete a permission slip. All Scholars need to be at Salem High School at 5am on 11/27/24 and the bus leaves at 5:15 am.
There are currently 27 seniors signed up and the bus holds 50.

The presale for the 126th playing of The Game on Thanksgiving Day is open now.
Witches fans can purchase tickets in the Salem High School main office, the Department of Athletics main office or on GoFan.com:
Advance tickets cost $5 for students and $7 for adults. Game Day admission is $10.

FAFSA Support
The U.S. Education Department (USED) has announced that the 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be launched through a new process. Starting on Tuesday, October 1, USED will release the 2025-26 FAFSA form for testing with a limited set of students and institutions. The department will make the application available to all students on or before Sunday, December 1. This process will allow USED to test and resolve issues before making the form available to all students and contributors.
Massachusetts students can find information about college financial aid on this shared web site and through the Department of Higher Education’s Office of Student Financial Assistance.
Salem High School Counselors will continue to work with our community partners to provide continual support around the financial aid process as the year progresses including workshops, one-on-one support in person and virtually, and student lesson planning.
