Our green screen technology lets you choose your background after Picture Day, but it also makes green clothes disappear into the background. So please, don’t wear green on Picture Day!

Jostens Senior ring presentation for the Junior class will be on Sept. 20 at 1:15.

See You at the Pole is Wednesday, September 25. Parents are welcome to join us for a time of prayer at 8am outside around the flag pole.

September 30 is going to be an exciting night for the whole family! Come and see what your students have been learning and support our high school students at the Cinderfella event!

PTF will be offering a Soup Bar for $6 a bowl if your family would like to to have dinner! Then, you can head to the gym to watch Cinderfella ($1 per person), an exciting event where the high school boys take the court as volleyball players with the girls as their coaches!

High School Boys - See Coach Austin or Coach Blagg if you would like to sign up to play on one of the volleyball teams for Cinderfella.

It's September, but the holiday season will be here before we know it! BCS Students have the opportunity to participate in Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan's Purse. To find out more details about OCC and Samaritan's Purse, please see and read the attached letter from our Missions Teacher, Patty Wied.

Elementary students received a shoebox in their Missions class last week. Secondary students may pick one up in the secondary office or the library. Last day to turn in boxes is September 30!

BCS Athletics will be hosting a brisket cook off and second tailgating event on Friday, October 4. Participants will need to supply their own cooked brisket by 4:00 pm that day to be entered for judging.

Recently, our Kindergarten classes hosted some special guests, Jason and Ashley McCain. They learned all about the roles and responsibilities of firefighters and police officers. The kids had a blast learning all about these important careers.

Senior, Mia Spargo threw out the first pitch for the Astros Charity Game for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! Way to go, Mia! We are proud of you!

Our 4th Grade students recently completed a unit on colonists and Native Americans where they learned about the dwellings that were built. Students chose a specific dwelling and then used supplies to bring their dwelling to life. Great job, 4th graders!
