Spring is in the air and you can see it in the smiles of Ms. Koski's PreK students as they played on the merry-go-round in the St. Albans City School's little playground.

Ms. Cameron-Muscente has been guiding students interested in expanding their Minecraft abilities for years through Open Doors sessions or summer camps. She usually asks students to work on a group challenge. Regardless of what they take on, her students learn new skills and enjoy the company of equally interested Minecraft players.

This coming school year we will be moving away from the learning community structure currently in use and into smaller grade bands (mostly two grade band loops).

Maple Run Unified School District and Northwestern Counseling & Support Services (NCSS) are hosting two upcoming presentations by Dr. Harris Strokoff on Social Media, the Internet, Gaming Addiction, Depression, and Suicide Risks in Kids and Teens:

May 7, 2024, at 6:00 pm at Bellows Free Academy
May 21, 2024, at 6:00 pm at Saint Albanst Town Educational Center

Dr. Harris Strokoff, Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist and Medical Director at Northwestern Counseling & Support Services, career has spanned almost 20 years and he will share medical evidence, as well as first-hand accounts, of how the internet, gaming, and social media addiction worsens mental health outcomes in children and teenagers and worsens suicide
risks in these populations.

All Maple Run families and community members are invited. Dinner will be provided.
