CELEBRATING THE CLASS OF 2024!
Wednesday marked both an ending and a beginning; Mora High School came alive with the joyous celebration of the Class of 2024. The school auditorium was a hub of excitement as students, alongside their families, friends, and school staff, gathered to honor the remarkable accomplishments and lasting impact of this year's graduating seniors.
The ceremony highlighted the diverse achievements of the students, from academic excellence to community service and beyond, shedding light on the bright futures that lie ahead of them. Speeches by faculty members resonated with heartfelt memories and aspirations, leaving no eye dry and hearts full of pride.
As the formalities concluded, the atmosphere shifted from reflective to festive. The crowd moved to the beautifully decorated Lower Commons, where cake and refreshments awaited. Laughter and music filled the air as everyone mingled, sharing stories and celebrating the milestones reached. The evening was not just about marking the completion of high school but also about fostering a sense of community and camaraderie that would last a lifetime.
It truly was a night to remember for the Class of 2024 as they stood on the threshold of their next great adventure, buoyed by the love and support of their Mora High School family. What an awesome day Thursday was at Mora High School as we celebrated the graduation of our incredible ALC students! Each of these graduates has worked extra hard to reach this momentous day, and we couldn't be prouder of their perseverance and dedication.
By receiving their diplomas, our graduates have shown what it means to overcome challenges and pursue success with determination. It's not just a piece of paper; it's a testament to their commitment and resilience.

Today was a momentous day at Mora High School as we celebrated a special ceremony where several of our students took the oath of enlistment. We are incredibly proud of their decision to serve and commit to such a noble path.
Each of these young men and women has shown remarkable dedication and courage, stepping forward to contribute to our nation's future. It's a significant commitment that speaks volumes about their character and values.

PAWS AND PRANKS: SENIOR PRANK DAY!
This year's Senior Prank Day was one for the books with a furry twist—Bring Your Dog to School Day! Friday, our hallways were filled with wagging tails and happy barks as at least 10 dogs joined their human pals for a day at school.
ARTISTIC ADVENTURES AT FRANCONIA SCULPTURE PARK!
On Thursday, May 23rd, Mr. Gunderson and our talented Art Club took a creative journey to Franconia Sculpture Park. It was a day filled with inspiration and excitement as they explored the vast array of sculptures and interactive art installations!
Each artwork offered a unique perspective, sparking imaginations and fueling the creative spirits of our students. From towering sculptures to thought-provoking pieces, the park was a playground for artistic exploration.
SUMMER EBT IS COMING!
Mora Schools will be participating in the new Summer EBT (S-EBT) program, which will help reduce child hunger by providing benefits to families with eligible school-age children for groceries throughout the summer.
Beginning this summer, the state of MN will provide grocery benefits to help families with eligible school-age children buy groceries during the summer. Learn more about this new program: http://www.fns.usda.gov/sebt/household.
Families who have received an approval letter or notice this past fall for income-eligible students (direct certified or categorically eligible) in school year 2023-2024 for free or reduced price (FRP) school meals are automatically eligible for S-EBT and no further action is needed.
Families who have not received an approval letter or notice in school year 2023-2024 may complete an Application for Educational Benefits if they suspect they qualify. The school will verify eligibility and contact households with an approval or denial letter.
