Moravia CSD Newsletter
February 3rd - 9th
Dear Moravia Families and Community,
It’s time for Snowcoming Week, and we are excited to fill our school with spirit, fun, and relationship building among our students and staff! We have an exciting week planned, and we would love for everyone to participate and show off their Mohawk Pride.
Monday kicks off with our monthly Character Strong house meetings, where our elementary students will find out their current house standings in points. As part of our commitment to community service, they will also make homemade Valentines together to deliver to the Moravia apartments—a wonderful way to work together for the good of others.
Throughout the week, students can get involved in our daily dress-up themes, with chances to win gift cards and prizes for the best-dressed participants. Let’s see that creativity shine!
On Wednesday, we will come together for a special assembly to celebrate our wrestlers, cheerleaders, and dancers, cheering them on as we send them off with encouragement. A special shoutout to Breegan Ellison as she competes in the girls' wrestling state competition on Thursday and Friday!
Then, on Friday, we will host our Snowcoming Pep Assembly to honor our senior winter athletes, enjoy some fun competitions, and celebrate our beloved band teacher, Mrs. Nelson, as she prepares for her well-earned retirement.
We encourage everyone to help us pack the gyms this week and show off the incredible spirit and pride that makes Moravia so special. Let’s come together as a school and community to make this Snowcoming Week one to remember!
Go Mohawks!
