Moravia CSD Newsletter
January 20th - 27th
As temperatures drop, we want to remind everyone of our plan for potential delays or snow days. So far, we haven’t had any snow, but winter weather can be unpredictable.
This year, we built 5.8 extra days into the school calendar to help us manage weather-related cancellations or delays. This means we can handle up to five and a half days before needing to use the state-allowed 5 days of snow day packets and virtual learning. By using these resources, we hope to avoid extending the school calendar or holding classes on unplanned Fridays.
To stay informed, it’s important that all families are signed up to receive school texts and notifications about delays or cancellations. If you’re not yet signed up or need assistance, please contact the school office.
Thank you for your cooperation as we work together to manage these winter challenges! Make sure your child remembers their hats, gloves, coats, and snow boots!
