Eilidh is a senior at the Advanced Math and Science Academy in Marlborough where she is a member of the National Honor Society. Through the school she is working towards the completion of a two dimensional art portfolio and conducting a peer evaluated research project on the efficiency of various laboratory techniques. Eilidh is active in her church's youth group and vestry, and participates in Girl Scouts and Active Minds.
Eilidh has not committed to a school yet, but intends to study biology in college on a pre-med track. We wish her well wherever her next journey takes her!
Dance Jam is a fun, non-competitve performance group that challenges students’ bodies and minds. Participation fosters self-discipline, self-esteem and performance ability through the art of dance.
On Saturday, January 18, Dance Jam performed on the ice during the 1st intermission of the Worcester Railers game as part of Grafton Night and Star Wars night! The members of Dance Jam love particpating in community events and this was one of their "coolest" shows yet! Their next performances will be in collaboration with Apple Tree Arts as the opening act of their spring musical March 7 and 8.
Dancers have seen their costumes in our book and have listened to their music. Choreography for dances is well underway!
As costumes arrive, they are steamed, packaged and prepped in preparation for the big day. Classes try on costumes and take a group picture before we send them home with dancers. Please remember to keep them safely stored in the bag with any included accessories until the dress rehearsal date. While many students have already received their costumes to take home, don't worry if your dancer's hasn't arrived yet. Costume ship dates vary and we expect to have all of them ready by the end of April.
Classes are working on choreography for their recital dances. While we know that winter can be difficult with colds and bad weather, attendance is very important so that students don't get behind in their learning. Make sure to let us know if your student has to be absent!
Tickets will go on sale March 1 for performances at 10:30 and 2:30, on Sunday, June 8 (dress rehearsals to be held Saturday, June 7). Our Recital Information Packet is now available with all the details you need to know. As you read through the information packet, please let us know if you have any questions. We will hold recital information meetings as the event approaches!
Recital tee shirts will be given to dancers at the end of February. Recital tees celebrate the production and are a fabulous keepsake for our dancers.

Week long camps for 4-8 and 8-13 year olds include dance, snack, craft and a performance
- Pop Star theme - Get ready to dance, shine and perform like a true pop star! This high energy camp teaches fun choreography, stage presence, and confidence-building moves, all set to today's hottest hits. Campers will get camera ready with help from our costume wardrobe and then star in a music video!

One day mini camps for 4-11 year olds include dance, snack, craft and a performance
- Hip Hop It Up! - work on fresh hip hop moves, grooves and combos set to upbeat music while building confidence and having fun
- Paw Party - featuring Ryder and the pups from Adventure Bay grooving through a paw-some adventure
- Mermaids & Unicorns - magic and fantasy rule the day when mermaids and unicorns come to play. We'll twirl, leap and sparkle through enchanting dances inspired by our mythical friends
- PJ Party - we'll dance in our favorite pajamas, play dance games and enjoy slumber party-themed fun; all with no bedtime required
- Mini Musical - a quick trip to Broadway to bring a musical to life with dance, music and fun

- We are excited to announce that our Irish Step dance classes for ages 10 and up are performing in the spring showcase, Our World is Dancing! Senior dancer, Eilidh, will be joined on stage by the Irish Step 10+ class. Before they take the stage at Our World is Dancing, this group has been invited to dance at the Saint Patrick's Day of Fun for the Town of Berlin's Senior Group on March 16. We are excited for these classes to have additional performance opportunities.

Dance 'N Play®, our first dance class experience, was designed by educators just for 2.5-4 year-olds. It is a gentle, nurturing environment where imaginations take flight, dance and movement vocabulary are learned, body awareness and gross motor skills grow, and rhythm and sound are explored.
