HSSD staff members like Physical Education Teacher Staci Demerath are always working hard to provide fun learning and enrichment opportunities for our students. In May, Howard Elementary students enjoyed mini golfing with their classmates at Duck Creek Golf Center. This was a first for some of our kiddos!
In recognition of her dedication to community safety as a Hydrant Helper, Brielle Seibert earned a special ride to Suamico Elementary in a fire truck. Every year, the Suamico Fire Department enlists Hydrant Helpers to clear the snow around fire hydrants to save precious minutes during a fire. Brielle worked hard during the snowy months to keep a clear path around her neighborhood hydrant. Thanks to her hard work and display of responsibility, Brielle won the opportunity to visit the fire station for breakfast, a tour, and the coveted ride to school.
