Principal's Message
Thomas Families,
What a fun week we’ve had at school! The kickoff of our Read-a-Thon Fundraiser, “Hats off to Reading” Day, and of course…Supergames!
I’m so grateful for our school community: earlier in the week, we put out a call for help because we were short on volunteers. And you, our Thomas families, answered the call! Thank you to those of you who were willing to come and facilitate a station, even with the very loud Kidz Bop music and the sweaty (but joyful!) kids.
The kids have a blast on this day, and it reminds me: it’s fun to have fun. We work hard every day at school, and our students take school seriously. But when I get to watch Mrs. Anders dancing with her students and Ms. Atkinson racing in a giant tricycle, I remember that it’s also important to laugh together, too!
Many thanks to Mrs. Burton for her organization, the Related Arts team for supporting the event, and our generous PTO for funding the Supergames. We couldn’t do it without all of you!
Go Tigers,
Melissa Garris

READ-A-THON UPDATE
One week down in our one big fundraiser of the year! If you haven’t yet registered for the Read-a-Thon, you can do that here (and use our school code: 5d2e019759df6). There’s still time! Money raised during this event helps pay for events like Supergames!
Thank you to the families and neighbors who have already generously donated. If every student in the school raises $30, we’ll meet our goal!
