Spring Valley Family News
May 2024
Message from Ms. Misner
Dear Spring Valley Families,
We are about a month away from the end of the 2023/2024 School Year! I am so proud of all of the accomplishments our students have had this school year and look forward to finishing the school year strong together!
The close of the school year brings with it many exciting celebrations. Please be sure to check out the upcoming events section of this newsletter and mark your calendars accordingly.
Our students will be taking their end of year assessments (NWEA and Fastbridge) beginning the week of May, 6th. Please make sure that your child is well rested and arrives to school on time.
As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. We appreciate your partnership as we work together to help all our students SOAR both academically and socially.
Take Care,
Heather L. Misner

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week
Think about sending a note or token of appreciation to your child's teacher anytime during the week. I know it would mean a lot to them!
Spring Valley Walk-A-Thon
PTO Sponsored Walk-A-Thon
If you would like to volunteer to help along the course and cheer our students on, please email Trudy Campbell at springvalleyelempto@gmail.com or contact the Main Office.
Attendance: Every Day Counts!
As the school years draws to a close please be sure to continue to make positive attendance a priority! It is so important for our students to be in school. Missing 10% or more of the school year negatively impacts our students and their academic growth.
Thank you for continuing to partner with us by getting your student to school on time, every day!
If your student is struggling to come to school, please reach out!

Students are also not permitted to wear hats or hoodies in the building unless they have been given a special reward or we have a special celebration. In these cases, communication will be sent to parents.
Morning Supervision does not begin until 8:30. Please do not drop your child off prior to 8:30.
If your child has a change in dismissal plans, please contact the Main Office prior to 3:00PM.
