Do you know families with a student starting kindergarten in the fall?
The Kindergarten Countdown is on!
Kindergarten registration is OPEN and we've got a number of events planned this spring and summer for our incoming kindergarten students and their families. Get more information and/or download the flyers in English and Spanish at www.bremertonschools.org/kindergarten.
Our next events are school tours at all of our elementary schools this Friday, May 9th!
Thanks for helping us get the word out!
Thank you to everyone who came out for be Bremerton!
On Saturday May 3rd, lots of lovely volunteers showed us what it means to "be Bremerton"!
If you were out and about in downtown Bremerton on Saturday, May 3, you may have seen groups of people in neon yellow shirts working together to beautify Bremerton! We had about 100 volunteers turn out this year on a cold but dry Saturday for our annual "be Bremerton: A Day of Service." This event is our way of showing the Bremerton Community and the City of Bremerton our thanks for their tremendous support of the Bremerton School District and our students. Thanks to all who volunteered!
Join us in celebrating Juneteenth!
Kitsap Juneteenth Freedom Festival
The 23rd annual Kitsap Juneteenth Freedom Festival is approaching. This year's event will be held on Saturday, June 14, and will include a freedom march followed by a resource fair at Evergreen Rotary Park. Everyone is welcome to join the march and the fair. We encourage you to wear your favorite Bremerton School District or school gear!
Juneteenth Block Party
Doc luv the kids (non profit) , Emerald City outdoor movies and The Brothers Tree Services would like to invite you to the Juneteenth Bremerton Block Party. Together with community partners, this is a wonderful free event for the community of Kitsap to learn about this special day and the history of this moment.
The Block Party will be Thursday, June 19, at the Perry Avenue Mall, from 1pm-5pm.
Looking for volunteers!
We will be looking for a few volunteers to help staff a Bremerton School District table at both Juneteenth events.
