What a great marching season! We are so proud of the band for making the push to the State Marching Contest. We had an amazing time putting Mettle together and loved performing it in the Alamodome. Thank you to the amazing parents, volunteers, and friends of the band for all of your support in making this show happen. We could not do what we do without you! Good luck to the drumline this weekend at the Lewisville Drumline Contest!

Students can go and support the percussion at the Lewisville Drumline Contest THIS Saturday, November 9 at Lewisville High School!

All Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and 9th grade students will audition for Region Band. All concert band members should strongly consider auditioning. Use the form below to sign up - due Friday, November 8.

REGION AUDITIONS: Region Band auditions are held at Coppell High School. Students are responsible for their own travel.

Phase 1 Woodwinds - Monday December 2 (after school - time TBD)

Phase 1 Brass and Percussion - Tuesday, December 3 (after school - time TBD)

Phase 2 and Freshman - Saturday, December 9

All students will turn in a band placement audition for the Spring Semester. The audition is the Freshman Cuts (LINK) of the region music. The Audition is due on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Do NOT wait to until the last minute to record! One of our goals, developed by the leadership team, is for everyone to submit their audition ON TIME.

ALL JAZZ BAND STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED to attend the Region Jazz Concert on Wednesday, November 20 TIME at Carroll Senior High School to support their friends! Students need to take a selfie with one of the region jazz members at the concert or check in with a director to prove attendance.

We're headed to the playoffs! Playoff football schedules do not come out until late. We will communicate information ASAP.

The CHHS Guard is kicking off the 2025 Winter Guard season with Auditions on November 19 and 21. Have a friend who is not in the band? Have them sign up for auditions (LINK)!!! The guard is Co-Ed and requires no previous experience!

We have our first playoff game on Friday the 15th against Anna at MPS.

We also have to staff a playoff game next Thursday the 14th as well! We need all the concession help we can get.
