Weekly Wrap-Up #7: 9/27/24
Wrapping up This Week + News for the Weeks to Come
THIS PAST WEEK
Thoughts from Your Principal, Kathy Sather
THANK YOU! IMPACTING KIDS
We are still accepting donations for our Jogathon. Our Jogathon wil happen on October 10th. This is our biggest fundraiser and all the funds raised go directly to support our students and improve our school. Thank you!
I love the sight of our families at our Friday Wrap Up, when it works for you! On Friday, I was a substitute in a second grade class and I was surprised at the number of kids who told me they were excited to see someone from their family at the Wrap up. Our next Raffle will let me work directly with kids to make their own Tie-Dyed t-shirt. The socks students made turned out so well last year that we're trying something even bigger this year!
This week our first Raffle Winners had fun building Legos with Ms. Jessica Reichert.
As usual, we recognized Class Growler counts - way to go 4th Grade. You currently hold both first and second place in the whole school! , Brayden and our 4th graders led a silly birthday song for birthdays and half-birthdays in the past week. This week we had our second celebration of Super Readers and honored our first Class for outstanding behavior for the MONTH in specials classes - Congratulations KA. Finally, we learned about Responsibility briefly together. Starting Fridays with singing, dancing, and celebrating super kids feels just right!
Always feel free to reach out via Class Dojo if you have any ideas or suggestions to make this year even better for your child and you!
