Happy Sunday Bearkats,


As we have sprung forward, don’t forget to set your clocks ahead and be ready for an earlier start on Monday. The good news? Spring Break is just around the corner!


With the end of the quarter this week, please remind your student to look closely at their grades and be diligent in cleaning up any missing assignments and/or retakes of any major grades. I also invite you to look at your student's attendance thus far to determine if support is needed. As always, if you have questions, please reach out to your child's assistant principal or counselor. We are here to help!


During InKlein, students have been given tools in Schoology to utilize for SAT and TSI prep, which is set for March 26th. If this is something on the horizon for your student, please direct them to these resources for extra practice.


Thank you all for your dedication—we appreciate you! Let’s finish strong before a well-earned break.

Attendance Reminders

Please help us by ensuring your student is attending school every day and every class period!


  • Make sure parent notes are entered in Skyward for absences or early releases.
  • All medical notes must be turned in within 5 days to be counted.
  • If your student accrues 6 absences, you will be contacted by an AP to sign and complete an attendance plan to make sure they stay on the right path and do not lose credit for classes. Additional absences may be referred to Truancy for denial of credit.

SAT/TSIA Testing - March 26

All 10th graders will take TSIA Reading and all 11th graders will take the SAT on Wednesday, March 26. This is an important opportunity for students to demonstrate their college and career readiness.


On test day, students should bring their Chromebooks, fully charged, and a charger to school. We will be on an alternate bell schedule, and if students are not testing, they will be assigned to a study hall room. ALL students should arrive on campus before 7:15 AM. There is no late arrival on testing day!


Students are prepping for SAT/TSIA during InKlein on Thursdays and Fridays. Here are the resources that students are using to prepare: SAT/TSIA Prep

STAAR EOC Exams

Students must pass each of the five STAAR EOC exams to be eligible for graduation. Klein High will have an alternate bell schedule on all STAAR EOC testing dates.


April 9, 2025 - STAAR EOC (English I) & TSIA Math

April 15, 2025 - STAAR EOC (English II)

April 22, 2025 - STAAR EOC (Biology & US History)

April 29, 2025 - STAAR EOC (Algebra 1)


Students should eat a healthy dinner, get a good night’s sleep, and arrive at school early to eat breakfast. Please ensure that students bring their Chromebooks, fully charged, and a charger to school on testing day. Non-testers will be assigned to a study hall, and room assignments will be posted in Schoology as test day approaches.

STAAR Boot Camps

To prepare students for the upcoming STAAR EOC exams, we are offering STAAR Boot Camps after school and on select Saturdays in March and April. Please see the flyer below for more information and to register for sessions.
