RoBee Report
Week of December 9th

Principal Welcome!
2 Weeks Remain Until Winter Break!
Dear Global Impact Academy Families,
Welcome Back! We now have about 3 weeks remaining of Semester 1. Parents, please ensure you are checking your student's grades on a weekly basis to ensure they are entering into finals week with passing grades. There should be no surprises. Please ensure open communication with your child's teacher as well. Being proactive can lead to successes!
Please also be sure to review this semester's final exam schedule which can be found below. Please note that beginning on Tuesday, December 17th, the school day will end at 12:25pm. As the weather is getting colder, please plan to have your students picked up as soon as possible.
Lastly, this week we will host our Pathway to Possibilities Evening. This evening will consist of informational sessions on our Dual Enrollment, Advanced Placement, Talented and Gifted Internships, and Work-Based Learning! We look forward to welcoming you to campus for a night of information that will advance our students!
Educationally Yours,

Additionally, I would like to acknowledge the leadership of Kaylie Stephens and Destiny Ntantang. Kaylie, our Georgia FBLA Region 7 President, and Destiny, GIA FBLA President, both played an essential role in preparing all competitors by holding mock sessions on TEAMS and in person. Their commitment ensured that our students were well-prepared for the competition.
FBLA also participated in the Fall Rally at Six Flags over Georgia in September 2024. During this event, the students who participated in open testing for Parliamentary Procedure placed 3rd: Tymia Adams, Shaniyah Anderson, Kennedi Cook, and Jada Ferguson.
A huge congratulations to Dr. Prewitt and her Scientific Research Class for presenting GIA's first ever on -campus Science Fair. Our students showed up and out with their projects. Please see below for a brief video of this awesome event!
