Greetings, Cardinal Superstars!
Can you believe it? We've got just 77 days left of this school year, and I am beyond excited to see the incredible things our amazing students will achieve in this final stretch!
As we gear up for state testing, I want to remind everyone that this is our time to shine. Students in grades 3rd through 8th and our fabulous Juniors will be taking these tests in person. Please be sure to mark your calendars to make sure your student can make it into school for those days. This is a chance for each of you to show off your brilliance, and I know you're all going to knock it out of the park!
ELPAC testing is about to begin! Ms. Elkins, our wonderful advocate for English Language Learners, will be reaching out to families to arrange testing times. Your participation is key in ensuring we understand the unique strengths and needs of our diverse community.
We also need your input on something crucial: the LCAP (Local Control and Accountability Plan) survey. This survey is like a treasure map leading us to understand the thoughts and needs of our students and parents. It's a vital piece of the puzzle that helps shape our school budget and other important decisions. Your voices matter, and the LCAP survey is a powerful way to share your thoughts. Let's make sure our school reflects the wishes and dreams of our incredible community. Your input, combined with other data measures, helps us build a roadmap for success.
How about some winter warmth and cocoa charm? I'm thrilled to invite all our students to join us for "Cocoa with Cardinals" from February 5th to February 9th. Swing by during your weekly teacher meetings, and we'll be serving up some delicious hot chocolate to add a little extra warmth to your day.
And here's an exciting announcement: We're looking to kick off a Parent Club for the next school year! This is an incredible opportunity for our parents to come together and be the driving force behind organizing schoolwide and community events. Imagine the amazing experiences we could create for our students and families with your input and creativity! Whether you're a seasoned event planner or just love bringing people together, we want you to be part of shaping the future of Tracy Charter School. Stay tuned for more details on how you can get involved and make a difference! Click here to access the interest form: https://forms.office.com/r/PQE1s4HMir
So, team, let's keep the energy high, the smiles big, and the focus sharp. These last 77 days are our opportunity to shine brighter than ever before. And don't miss out on "Cocoa with Cardinals" or the chance to join our Parent Club – because together, there's nothing we can't achieve!
Thank you for being the incredible community that you are. Here's to finishing the school year with a bang!
Cheers to success,
Annabelle Lee

Reminders/Updates
Please remind students to check their SCHOOL email every day! Teachers send out important information, and this is the quickest line of communication to our students and families!
Attendance Reminders
Students must be logged in (not idle) for a minimum of 30 minutes a day and submit one assignment. (However, they will need to do more than the minimum to finish classes and stay on track.) Weekly attendance to their one on one teacher meetings is REQUIRED and does count towards their attendance for that day. Because we are an independent study school, we do not have excused absences, so students do need to do their assigned activities.
We have a schoolwide goal of 95% attendance which should be an easily achievable goal, since students are at home and can log in at any time during the school day. January we were at 89.4%! Almost there!!!!
Seniors!
It's that time! We are starting to prep for graduation ... Please see the flyers below with information for caps and gowns orders and grad info.
Every Senior MUST fill out the FAFSA before graduation! It is open NOW and takes less than 30 minutes to fill out. https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/sign-in/landing
