We are looking forward to another great week at HGSE!

January is School Board Member Appreciation Month! Thank you to our School Board Members for their dedication and service to all of our students and staff in YSD1 and HGSE! We appreciate their hard work and loyalty to ensure the very best is provided to our schools and community! Thank you and Thank you to YSD1 Board of Trustees Members: Beth R Faulkner, Scott Childers, Wade Anderson, David McSwain, Christopher Revels, Betty F Johnson, and Diane Howell.

The YSD1 Career Fair is this Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024. We would love to see our own community members have the opportunity to work in our great district. All deparments have upcoming positions and some positions are now! Please stop by YCHS on Saturday and check it out! Also, help spread the word!!

Four year old kindergarten and Five year old Kindergarten Registration will be kicking off the first week in March. We are gearing up for registration for the upcoming school year. More information to come and we want to start the chats now! Be sure you and your friends register your little ones early! Be on the lookout for flyers with all the details coming soon!

Valentine's Dance is coming up soon on Friday, February 9th at 6:30! Bring your dancing shoes!

YSD1 has partnered with Affinity Health Center! Students and staff are invited to use this new School Based Center located at York Middle School. They are open on Mondays 9:00am-4:00pm for students and staff. If your child is absent, please remember to send in a parent note or doctor's note to cover the absence. Click on the link below for digital access and convenience to submit a parent note to the front office.
