We Have A Hertrich "Cash For Class" Winner!
A big congratulations to Queen Anne’s County High School PEALS Teacher Brian Tyler, one of the winners of the 2023 Cash for Class Contest! The team at Hertrich Ford of Easton & Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships surprised Mr. Tyler earlier this week with a banner and a check for $1,000 to fund a mural in his classroom. Way to go Mr. Tyler, we can't wait to see what you create!
3rd Annual QACPS Art Greeting Card Contest Award
Congratulations to the VERY talented Adelaine Gray, 3rd grader at KES! She is this years winner of the Superintendent's Holiday Greeting Card Contest! Adelaine's beautiful depiction of the historic Queen Anne's County Courthouse impressed everyone! A giant thank you to all of our talented students who participated this year. Washington College, in partnership with Kent County High School and Queen Anne’s County public high schools, is pleased to announce six new scholarships aimed at encouraging more Eastern Shore students to pursue a career in education. The College will award scholarships to cover full tuition, fees, room, and board, to three students in each of those counties annually. The scholarships, which have an educational value of over $280,000 for four years per student awarded, will be available beginning this fall. Click here for more information.
